Physical Therapy Assistant Schools in Oklahoma

The physical therapist assistant works under the general supervision of a physical therapist in the state of Oklahoma. After completing this two year program, the student is awarded an Associate in Applied Science Degree, and is eligible to sit for National Board Exam to obtain licensure from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Due to the clinical nature of this program, student liability insurance, a series of background checks and a random drug screen are required.

Oklahoma has six (6) schools which offer physical therapy assistant education. This schools offer Associate of Applied Science and features culminates in AAS degree as well as offered in part-time evening format. These schools are mostly in public type of universities.
